The photos are very helpful, especially the view of Capt. Peach in uniform which shows a raised decked area at the forward part of the promenade deck, a feature both John Deakin and Colin Leonard had forgotten and which thanks to this photo can now be replicated in the restoration. It also explains the puzzle as to why exterior shots of the prom deck show a distinct line at this point on the forward panelling.
